Zay Flowers, Ravens Agree to Massively Lucrative Four-Year, $140M Extension
The Baltimore Ravens have locked down their premier offensive weapon for the foreseeable future. Two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers has agreed to a monumental four-year, $140 million contract extension, his agency, Win Sports Group, confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday.
The deal features $108 million in guaranteed money, cementing Flowers as a foundational cornerstone of Baltimore’s passing attack alongside quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Contract Details and NFL Wide Receiver Pay Rankings
At an average annual value (AAV) of $35 million, Flowers jumps into the absolute upper echelon of modern NFL wide receiver compensation. The deal officially ties him with Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson as the fourth-highest-paid wide receiver in the league on an annual basis.
| Player | Team | Average Annual Value (AAV) |
| Jaxon Smith-Njigba | Seattle Seahawks | $42.15M |
| Ja’Marr Chase | Cincinnati Bengals | $40.25M |
| Drake London | Atlanta Falcons | $35.25M |
| Zay Flowers | Baltimore Ravens | $35.00M |
| Justin Jefferson | Minnesota Vikings | $35.00M |
| CeeDee Lamb | Dallas Cowboys | $34.00M |
The Engine of Baltimore’s Passing Game
Flowers, who turns 26 in September, single-handedly carried the Ravens’ wide receiver group during the 2025 season. He posted career highs across the board, hauling in 86 receptions for 1,211 yards.
To put his workload in perspective, Flowers’ 1,211 receiving yards accounted for a staggering 36.9% of Baltimore’s total receiving yards in 2025—the second-highest individual share in the entire NFL, behind only Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba (44.1%).
The gap between Flowers and the rest of Baltimore’s wide receiver depth chart was historical:
-
Zay Flowers (2025): 86 catches | 1,211 receiving yards
-
Rest of Ravens WR Corps: No other wide receiver recorded more than 25 catches or 400 yards in 2025.
By earning Pro Bowl nods in both 2024 and 2025, Flowers holds the unique distinction of being the only wide receiver in Ravens franchise history to reach the Pro Bowl.
A Stellar Class of 2023 Receiver
Drafted 22nd overall in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Boston College, Flowers has proven to be a game-changing playmaker from day one. Over his first three seasons in the league, he has accumulated 3,128 receiving yards.
He stands comfortably among the elite trio of pass-catchers from the 2023 draft class alongside Puka Nacua (4,191 yards) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (3,551 yards).
With this $140 million deal, the Ravens ensure that Lamar Jackson keeps his most dynamic target locked in through his athletic prime, solidifying Baltimore’s offense as a persistent threat in the competitive AFC North.
