In a very recent updates the delta airlines starts cutting food and beverage service on its flights this summer. When you travel on this flight during this period, you won’t receive any food or drinks on its 450 daily flights.
This Atlanta-origin airline will no longer provide any food or drink to passengers travelling a distance of 349 miles or less. Some routes are the Los Angeles to San Francisco. It has also been notified that it will provide food and drinks service to people travelling at night for 350 miles or more.
Other flights, like American Airlines, also do not provide food and drinks to travellers below 250 miles.
Does Delta Airlines offer free snacks in flight?
As of now, travellers won’t enjoy or receive such free services for short distances, but can have the opportunity to get soda or some complimentary snacks such as Biscoff cookies, sunchips, granola bars, etc.
