High-flying luxury is landing in Texas. Starting October 24, 2026, United Airlines will deploy its flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner equipped with the “Elevated” interior out of Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
The jet redefines premium long-haul travel for Texas travellers, debuting the carrier’s brand-new United Polaris Studio—a first-class style suite complete with Ossetra caviar, Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, sliding privacy doors, and companion dining.
The Launch Corridors: Houston to the World
Houston marks United’s first major hub expansion for the “Elevated” 787-9 fleet outside of its initial San Francisco debut. The aircraft will operate four non-stop long-haul international routes across four continents:
